Office Policies
We are pleased to welcome you to our practice. Our staff is committed to providing you with the highest quality medical care. Your health and well being are our primary concerns. Dr. O'Brien is board certified and fully trained to care for your plastic surgery concerns.
Scheduling
We make every attempt to meet our patients' requests for days and times for appointments and to keep waiting time to a minimum. Therefore, we ask for the courtesy of your calling our office if you are unable to keep your appointment or if you will be delayed. We strive to see all of our patients at their scheduled time and appreciate your understanding if we must reschedule you if you are late.
Insurance Authorization
It is important that you bring your insurance card(s) and any referral authorization information required by your insurance company. If you are not sure whether a referral authorization is required, contact your insurance company prior to your first visit. Patients who do not obtain the proper referral prior to the office visit will be required to reschedule their appointment.
Telephone Calls
We ask that you call the office during regular hours for routine matters and prescription refills. We will not refill prescriptions on weekends. We will return all calls received by the end of office hours that same day. Our office hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00am to 5:00pm with lunch taken from 12:00 Noon until 1:30pm. On Friday the office usually closes at 1:00pm.

Confidentiality
The information in your medical record is private. The only way information can be released to anyone is by a signed consent form that you have completed and signed. The confidentiality also extends to the personal information given to us on your patient information/medical history sheets.
Finances
Payment for services rendered is due at the time of your visit. Payment can be made by check, cash or credit card. Please see our "Patient Agreement" for our complete financial policy.
